Shortest Day: \u00a0Cedar Crest, NM to Albuquerque, NM \u2013 25.2 miles<\/p>\n
Longest Day: \u00a0Springfield, MO to Carthage, MO \u2013 68.7 miles<\/p>\n
Most climbing in one day: \u00a0Romeroville, NM to Santa Fe, NM \u00a0\u2013 3,806 feet<\/p>\n
Least climbing in one day: Fenner, CA to Amboy, CA \u2013 325 feet<\/p>\n
Total mileage: \u00a02,485.4 miles<\/p>\n
Total amount of climbing: \u00a0 81,287 feet<\/p>\n
\u00a0Highest Elevation: \u00a0El Morro, NM \u2013 7,300 feet<\/p>\n
\u00a0Total of layover or rest days: \u00a07 after we leave Chicago.<\/p>\n
Of course, the weather will play a big factor in all of this. \u00a0Even a relatively short day if ridden into a strong headwind and\/or rain can make for a really hard day. \u00a0And in the mountains, even with a lot of climbing, if the weather is pleasant, it can be a nice day. \u00a0 But a bad weather day in the mountains will not be any fun at all!!!<\/p>\n
